Metalli 268 in a nutshell

When joining Teollisuusliitto, a member joins one of Teollisuusliitto's local branches, of which there are around 500. Our professional section number is 268.

The members of our professional department are from several workplaces.

The most important benefit of the industrial union is the collective agreement, or TES. A collective agreement is an agreement agreed upon by the Union of Industry and the Union of Employers. It defines the salaries of the industry and the conditions of the employment relationship, such as matters related to occupational well-being, working hours, vacations and other benefits. The collective agreement ensures that the employees have working conditions, salaries and salary increases in accordance with the TES.

Our department has many different sections in addition to the absolutely important safeguarding of interests: education, youth, leisure and senior sections. These different groups organize programs according to their themes, for example Christmas cruises, educational trips, family outings, theater trips and other events with affordable deductibles.
